Vive la révolution! - The Lavater Days 2024 are characterised by the great upheavals of the last centuries. In a sophisticated way, the political events are brought into connection with the musical contemporary history. Four days that offer an exciting view of historical events and also take a look into the future.This year's edition of the chamber music festival is also being held at the Lavaterhaus. The current parish hall is named after Johann Caspar Lavater, pastor of St Peter's. In this very house Lavater conducted lively correspondence with great men from all over Europe. A fitting location for a great musical festival in the centre of Zurich. The concert series will take place from 9 to 12 May 2024.
