Just a short trip from Lake Zurich lies the Enea Tree Museum in Rapperswil-Jona – a 75,000 m² park where botany, landscape architecture and art merge into one breathtaking total work of art.
Founded in 2010 by internationally renowned landscape architect Enzo Enea, the open-air museum is home to over 50 carefully rescued trees from more than 25 species – some of them more than 100 years old. Set against minimalist sandstone walls, they enter into a quiet dialogue with sculptures by international artists such as Fernando Botero, Not Vital and Jaume Plensa. Particularly exclusive: a private guided tour with a landscape architect or directly with an Enea team member, sharing the stories behind each individual tree.
